NINA YANG’S "RAINBOW GALAXY" PAINTING WINS MOST POPULAR OF SHOW AWARD AT 2002 SUNBURST GALLERY SHOW

SUNNYVALE, CA: (August 26, 2002) – Nina Yang’s "Rainbow Galaxy" oil painting was voted "Most Popular of Show" at the 2002 Sunburst Gallery Show. Her painting was voted most popular by the Gallery’s visitors over the duration of the show. "I’m very happy that the viewers enjoyed my painting, and were blessed by seeing it," said Ms. Yang. Ms. Yang had two other works juried into the show, one of the only two artists that had all three of their entries accepted. Her other two works selected were "Pink Poppy," which won the First Place award, and "Two Cala Lilies."

Nina Yang was already an accomplished artist at a young age. She has won awards and honors for her work, and has trained at Parsons School of Design in New York City as well as the San Francisco Art Institute. She also has a breadth of life experience with careers as a model, lead singer, radio disc jockey, computer engineer, art director and youth minister. She graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree. She is married and is home-schooling her son in the San Francisco Bay Area.

NINA YANG was formed to act as a conduit and distribution point for the artist’s diverse work to the world. As the artist finds new expression through various media such as painting, jewelry, fashion, stationery and print, NINA YANG will seek to make the work available to as large an audience as possible. The company is dedicated to glorifying Jesus Christ by acting with integrity as well as creating and distributing edifying content. A portion of all profits will be donated to non-profit organizations that serve to bring God’s grace to underprivileged people.
