I was a caterpillar, eating dirt and crawling around all day. Beauty was something that was totally foreign to me. I never even dared to dream about it. I was so depressed, I felt like dying. I began to wall myself away from the world by building my own little cave. When it was ready, I went in, thinking to myself that I would just sleep forever. But when I woke up, I felt very different and very cramped. I needed to get out of my cave! So I started to break through the wall with all my strength. It was hard, painful work. When I tried to pull myself out, it hurt so much that I cried. Finally, I was out of my cave. I felt very strange at first, but then got stronger and stronger as I rested. All of a sudden, I found myself flying! I had transformed from an ugly caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly!

If you feel like an ugly caterpillar, remember that God has a plan for you.
