This is what infatuation looks like to me. At first glance, it appears to be a harmless and attractive flower with many petals reaching out. But looking closer, these petals could also be tentacles waving around, pulling me in. And if you really look deep into the center, there’s a hint of blood inside. A very terrifying sight! But now that I have rooted myself in Christ and trust that He will never lead me into temptation and will deliver me from evil, I’m no longer afraid to confront my enemies, as Christ is there to help me understand the roots of my infatuations. I no longer run away from them, but stand and conquer my weaknesses with Christ.
